As a part of the Captain Career Course Chris is in currently, we had to go to a reception at the General's home last night. We had to get all dressed up for this hour long reception. We shook the General and his wifes hand, stood in the corner of a crowded/hot room while we sipped on some wine/beer, listened as the general spoke for 5 minutes, then we were kindly ushered out so the next group could come. Now I dont mind getting all dressed up, but to go through all that effort for just to shake a hand... a little ridiculous if you ask me!
Afterward everyone in Chris's class went to the loft for dinner. We were a little late getting there because we decided to head home first and change into something more comfortable! The loft our favorite restaurant in Columbus! In the upstairs bar they had a band playing so after dinner we headed up there to listen for a bit! If anyone will ever be in the Columbus I strongly recommend checking the loft out -
