Birthday Love.

Well my actual birthday has come and gone, but the celebration will continue through the weekend!! Tuesday was such a wonderful day (minus having to spend a full day at work). Its funny how times have changed. When I got home from work Chris had a glass of wine ready for me and the presents all aligned for me to open.

I have a feeling 26 will be an amazing year!! the festivities continue this weekend as we head to the beach to spend the weekend with the Simmons clan :) cant wait to have my toes in the sand. Love xo.

Golden Birthday

Today is my golden birthday! 26 on the 26th. Birthdays for me used to be week long celebrations and dont get me wrong, my birthday is still my favorite holiday, but the closer I creep to 30 the less excited I get. Today so far has been wonderful. So many wonderful wishes from family and friends. I truely am a lucky girl. Chris didnt have to be to work till late this morning, so I was treated to coffee and breakfast in bed this morning... a perfect way to start a birthday.

While I'll go into more detail on my birthday in tomorrows post, I wanted to share some quotes I hope to live by this next year.

This next year, I hope to be a better wife, daughter, sister, and friend to those I love. I want to try to be more spontaneous and carefree. I hope to appreciate all the little moments in life brings. Cant wait for all the memories 26 will bring! Love you all! xo.

Here we go....

Welcome!! So I decided to start blogging so everyone would be able to have an easy way to keep up with all that Chris and I do, share pictures, and just share a little bit more of our lives with everyone. I was inspired to start a blog by following one of my best friends, Whitney Nicosia's blog (everyone should check it out http://jwhitneynic.blogspot.com/).  So heres just a little back ground and some recent pics.

Chris and I got married May, 28 2011 in the Bahamas, with our closest friends and family by our side. It was such a good time. We both consider ourselves so blessed that we have our wonderful parents to look up as inspiration for married life.

By the time we made it to our first anniversary we had gone through a 4 month deployment to Iraq, vacationing in  Germany/Austria, and an across country move from El Paso, TX to Columbus, GA. 

We were beyond thrilled to make the move out of El Paso. Being so much closer to my home in Memphis has been so wonderful. We have been able to make plenty of trips up there to spend time with family and friends.

Since being in Columbus, our home away from home has been at J. Whit's in Buckhead. Its been such a fun weekend get away spot, and the best part is that I get to spend so much time with my college bff.

Well this is just a little bit of what has been going on. Hopefully this blog inspires me to take more pictures to share :) This weekend we will be heading down to Destin to meet up with the Simmons' clan!
