Start of my Birthday Week

We started our weekend with another L is softball... no surprise there. We still figure out of all the teams, we are the only ones winning at life. Therefore, we have to keep loosing or our personal/professional lives might take a hit!

After we headed to PSP for pizza and beer...

Elisha demonstrating her chopstick skills... fresh off the plane from Beijing

One beer quickly turned epic when Elisha pulled her signature move, tray of shots

Saturday, Chris cooked BBQ nachos and Fajitas. We had everyone over to eat before heading out
the girls

We went to Brew five-three which had tons of local breweries and live jazz music. a tad over priced, but still fun!

gorgeous night to celebrate

After Brew five three, we ended our night at the Swiss. As usual, the girls took over the dance floor while the guys played pool!

It was such a good time!  looking forward to part 2 this weekend :)

Tony Bennett concert

Saturday night, our friend Nate invited us to the Tony Bennett concert with him and his family! At first I really didn't know what to expect, after all Tony is 86, but it turned out to be such a great show. Tony's still got it. For his final number he sang Fly me to the moon, and halfway through he put down his mic and the band stopped and his voice just radiated throughout the theater. There was not a dry eye in the place. It was a breath-taking moment!

After the concert, Nate's family took us to El Gaucho for dinner and wine. The food, wine, and company was amazing.

Looking back it will definitely be one of those evenings we will never forget. It was so refreshing to hear songs that didn't include profanity. It really took you back to when things were much simpler in this life. I know for me, it was just a little reality check to what really is important in this life.

Life is always better with a smile :)

Piggyback friends

WHAT A WEEKEND!!!! We had so much fun! After losing our softball again (18-7) We decided to go our for just dinner and a drink.... well that turned into a whole evening of festivities

Saturday- we had a party for our friend Lyle who is about to start medication for non contagious tuberculosis. On this medicine he will not be able to drink, so this was his last night out!

Elisha said it best "there are some friends you just get a pedicure with and others that you piggyback to the next bar"  These are my piggyback friends.
