Peach and Balsamic Pizza

Thursday nights dinner was so good, I made it again on Friday night!!

Peach and Balsamic Pizza

You can find the recipe here

I did make some changes. I used whole wheat naan as my crust and since peaches aren't quite in season yet, I had to use canned peaches instead of fresh.  I've found Naan to be the perfect size to make individual pizzas- you can find it at practically any grocery store these days. I got mine from Whole foods.
I also used a pre-made balsamic reduction from Trader Joes instead of reducing my own.

All in all this dinner took 5 minutes to put together and 10-15 to bake, making it a perfect quick weeknight meal.

My 2nd favorite day of the year

Sunday was my 2nd favorite day of the year! Chris's birthday. It is only preceded by my own birthday. Sunday started with making the birthday boy bagel sandwiches. Bacon, egg, habanero cheese on everything bagels- delicious. After opening some birthday goodies, we spent the afternoon catching up on Games of Thrones. Birthday dinner was at Bastille - it was so good, but the pistachio profiteroles were beyond amazing. We made it back just in time to catch the Season 4 of GoT  premier.

I had to share this picture of Chester- Chris was out of town a few days before his birthday, and at every noise Chester heard he stared at the front door to see if it was Chris coming home. It's so sweet!
just waiting for dad
