Another Atlanta Weekend!

Chris and I spent another fun weekend in Atlanta! We woke up early Saturday, got a quick workout in before heading to the A. We were meeting Courtney and Marcus up there and some of their friends from home. The plan was the float the river, but unfortunately mother nature was not cooperating. So what does one do when in Atl and plans fall through... Go to Tin Lizzys of course!

Tin Lizzys is by far one of my favorite spots in buckhead. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is super fun. There are TV's all over so we were able to keep up on all the latest olympic action and our waitress was more then content with us just enjoying a few beers and ritas while we chatted!

After leaving Tin Lizzys we went back to the hotel and got ready real fast. We went to Double Tree where Court and Marcus were staying and played Kings until it was time for the taxi to come pick us up for our dinner reservations.

We went to Two Urban Licks for dinner, and it was AMAZING!!!

The kitchen is located in the middle of the restautant so you could watch all the action as they prepared your meal!

We started with the Salmon Chips: Short smoked salmon, chipotle cream cheese, capers, red onions and the Empanadas: Brisket, garlic aioli, pico de gallo, feta. Both were seriously amazing. We were so full from just those we decided to split the Bistro Steak for out entree: Grilled, herb whipped potatoes, local beans, corn, shitake mushrooms, chimichurri.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Atlanta area.

After a day full of eating and drinking we were too full for a night out on the town!

Sunday morning Chris was so sweet and went to get our favorite bagels from Goldberg (http://www.goldbergbagel.com/). By far the best the everything bagel with eggs, cheese and bacon around!

I am ashamed I didnt take any pics :( I promise next weekend I'll take plenty as I head back up to Atlanta for Courtney Cooper's showers and to spend some girl time with Whit before the big move!
