Birmingham Weekend.

Well our Apt was all packed up come Friday afternoon... nothing left but everything we were planning on strategically stuffing in our cars. We threw a suitcase and air mattress  in the car and headed to Birmingham for a fun filled weekend and some SEC football.

Friday night we met Whitney, Joel, Robby, Stephanie, Sydni, and Drew at Avo above Dram for dinner. http://www.avorestaurant.com/   The food was amazing. Dram is a whiskey bar, so I decided to branch out and try a bacon Bourbon drink... i thought maybe my love of bacon might make up for the fact i really don't like bourbon... it didn't. After making everyone at least try it, I decided not to even try and finish it and ordered wine instead.

Saturday morning we headed to Tuscaloosa.  Chris's cousin and his fiance Stephanie were so welcoming and hosted us in their tent!

After hours tailgating in the Quad, it was time to head it to the stadium. Joel was able to get us amazing seats!

After a 21-0 first half against Western Kentucky, we decided to head back to B-ham to beat the traffic. We were not going to let the party stop there. We went straight to the Tin Roof. Such a fun bar. Cornhole and plenty of Tvs with football on in the outside area, and later in the evening a band to kick off the dance party!

Sunday morning came to fast. We headed to Chris' aunt and uncles for brunch. His uncle whipped up  pancakes, eggs, and bacon! Perfect breakfast for after a long night out... not to mention the mimosas helped :)

Once we got back to Columbus it was all business getting out apt cleaned and cleared out! Monday morning around 11 est we were on our way to Memphis! So happy to be spending some quality time st home before the cross country drive!
